Clare Gannon has spent the past two decades cheerfully describing her job as a “mud slinger.” In truth, she’s managed media campaigns for Governors, members of Congress, state legislators, and leading advocacy organizations—from writing and producing TV ads to targeting audiences and maximizing resources.

Her TV, radio, and digital ads range from emotional and dramatic, to “attack ads that make you smile.” This combination has helped Founding Partner Gannon and Three Point rack up wins for Democratic officeholders and progressive causes all over the country; from Oregon’s history-making Tina Kotek, one of the first lesbians elected Governor in the country, to Governor Steve Bullock’s reelection in ruby-red Montana.

After serving as Deputy Communications Director in her home state of Iowa for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign then as Deputy National Press Secretary at the Democratic National Committee, Gannon got her start in political admaking at the firm Doak, Carrier, O’Donnell, Goldman and Associates, Inc.

After time in DC and Chicago, Clare, and her husband Jano live in Minneapolis where they are raising their son Finnegan to be a hearty Midwesterner.

Founding Partner Mattis Goldman has devised strategy and created advertising for campaigns and advocacy organizations across America, helping elect 8 governors, 15 members of Congress, and over a dozen attorneys general.

Founding Partner Mattis Goldman has helped Democrats win tough elections all across the country and has created award-winning advertising to advance important causes. Called a “Democratic ad guru” by CNN, he has advised successful campaigns at virtually every level, including 12 Governors, 15 Attorneys General, and more than 25 Members of Congress.

From Democratic Governors in deep red states to the progressive legislator who defeated the biggest self-funder in Congressional history, Goldman has used strategic storytelling and an abiding love for puns, rhymes, and regional accents to help candidates beat the odds.

Goldman has also advised a wide range of advocacy organizations, labor unions, and nonprofits, including United Way, the National Wildlife Federation, SEIU, and more. And with deep experience in California and the West, he’s helped win ballot measure campaigns on issues from abortion rights and marriage equality to clean energy and school funding.

Before starting Three Point in 2009, Goldman worked at the former Washington, DC media firm Doak, Carrier, O’Donnell and Associates.

From beating self-funding Republicans in red states to winning multi-candidate primaries in blue ones, Partner Travis Lowe has helped develop winning strategies and moving ad campaigns that have delivered big victories for Three Point clients.

Winning tough races from Governor down to local office for candidates, progressive organizations, and labor, Lowe’s ads have been recognized by The Washington Post, MSNBC, Roll Call, CNN, ABC News, and others as “compelling”, “pitch-perfect,” and “raising eyebrows.”

Prior to joining Three Point, Lowe led the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Independent Expenditure program in 2012. Lowe oversaw the IE’s paid media campaigns in dozens of districts, allocating tens of millions of dollars on behalf of congressional candidates in over 50 media markets across the country.

Travis and his wife, Emily, live in Des Moines and have two sons, Teddy and Miller.

Partner Elisabeth Pearson has been a leading Democratic strategist for two decades, working on campaigns and advising candidates across the ballot. And for the past six years, she has produced hard-hitting political ads and crafted paid media strategies to win some of the most competitive races across the country – from Secretary of State to U.S. Senate.

Previously, Elisabeth served as Executive Director of the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) flipping eight governorships from red to blue and not losing a single Democratic incumbent – one of the best cycles in DGA history.

Not only has Elisabeth played a critical role in winning some of the country’s most competitive elections, she was described by Roll Call as “a leading strategist in the party’s [2020] redistricting efforts,” for her work launching the DGA’s Unrig the Map redistricting project and serving as a founding board member of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC).

Prior to her work as Executive Director of the DGA, Pearson served as the organization’s Political Director.  And during the 2010 cycle she worked as Deputy Political Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) – working to hold the Senate majority despite a very challenging political environment. Pearson has also worked on multiple campaigns in Virginia; holding leadership roles on Warner for Senate, Kaine for Governor and Wagner for Lt. Governor.

Elisabeth lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Charlie, and two sons, George and Jacob.

Partner and Creative Director Clemencia Herrera knows how to build a strong visual narrative and has worked on award winning campaigns earning her an Emmy, Promax, Maven, Hatch, and several Pollies for her broadcast work.

With her extensive brand strategy and multicultural advertising experience, Herrera makes for a versatile and effective creative. Always looking to make “political ads that don’t look like political ads”, she uses her background in commercial work to push the envelope of her craft. Herrera has been involved in the brand development of press-worthy campaigns such as Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and the DGA’s attack ads against Mark Ronchetti in New Mexico.

She’s deeply passionate about giving underrepresented communities the quality communications they deserve, leading her to work with organizations such as Voto Latino and Mi Familia Vota. She also has hosted the podcast Chancleta Generation for the past 4 years, which takes a deep dive into the different aspects of the relationship between US politics and Latinx voters, to help them make their voices heard. Because even if we’re all different, we’re worthy of the same.

Herrera currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Carlos, and their two cats – Yoshi and Amun.
